1. Counsel said at the first directions hearing that the judge would push hard for settlement before any hearing, and named the week. He was right to the week.

2. We won a point and visibly annoyed the bench. The judgment records the ruling and nothing else. You could read every judgment he's written and never learn it.

3. Our solicitor knew what that registry's prosecutors will drop and what they never drop. Right on both counts, and it exists nowhere in writing.
