Asked my solicitor who he'd brief if he were the one being sued. Different name from his first recommendation and about forty percent cheaper.
Counsel was chosen for how the listed judge had responded to the alternative's style twice before. My solicitor said so openly.
Two juniors told me separately, months apart, that the same barrister returns briefs late. His clerk steered me away without ever saying a negative word.
